Auberon: a handmade mohair teddy bear

Auberon is looking for a home this Christmas! He is the largest bear I've made for a while - he's hefty and huggable and just a lovely soulful companion.

Auberon has been made by hand in my Sussex workshop, sewn on a vintage Singer sewing machine that's been on the go since 1907. I have sewn him from a very beautiful soft mohair in a dark caramel shade with a tan backing. It's the same mohair as used for Artair and Larkin (now sold).

Auberon is stuffed with dense polyfibre, and heavily weighted with recycled beanie pellets. This makes him very tactile and and helps him to sit very well.

He has traditional cotter pin joints to arms, legs and head. He has black english glass eyes, cotton perle stitched claws and muzzle, and woolfelt paws.

This bear is around 35cms in height and weighs 770g.

Please note that my bears are collectible items, and a such not intended for children under the age of 14.

Auberon will arrive with a provenance tag to identify him as made by Jenny Gale of Winter's Den.

This bear will be dispatched within 3 days. Please note that if you are located outside the UK, your country may charge an import tax so please be prepared to pay should this happen (note below r.e. USA). I am sorry that I can no longer sell to the EU due to the difficulty for small businesses to comply with the GSPR regulations. Shipping to the USA now includes duties paid.
