Boone: a handmade mohair teddy bear

Boone is beautiful teddy bear, handmade in the traditional style from german mohair. I have lightly distressed the mohair to enhance the antique feel of this bear. Boone is five way jointed with cotter pins so arms, legs and head are fully moveable.

Boone has arms and legs filled with wood wool for a delicious vintage crunch, but his paws and tummy are softly stuffed with wool. His head is firmly stuffed with wood wool and wood shavings. Paw pads are made from ultrasuede.

His claws and muzzle are stitched with black perle cotton and his nose is lightly waxed. Boone has black english glass eyes. He is weighted with recycled steel pellets in the tummy and ankles; this makes him a lovely weight to hold, and enables easy sitting.

This bear is 25cms tall and weight 395g

Please note that my bears are collectible items, and a such not intended for children under the age of 14.

Boone will arrive with a provenance tag to identify him as made by Jenny Gale of Winter's Den.
