Darwin: a handmade mohair teddy bear

Darwin is a five-way jointed artist bear, made by hand in my Sussex studio. He is made from a beautiful German mohair in a cool blonde tone on a coffee coloured backing fabric. His paw pads are traditional wool-felt; he has black English glass eyes, and waxed cotton stitched muzzle and claws.

Darwin has some light shading to his face, ears and paws. His head is firmly stuffed with traditional German wood-wool, but his body and limbs are delightfully cuddly, filled with high quality wool. I have added some steel weighting to his feet and tummy, which helps him to sit very nicely.

This bear weighs 485g, and is 32cms tall.

Please note that my bears are collectible items, and a such not intended for children under the age of 14.

Darwin will arrive with a provenance tag to identify him as made by Jenny Gale of Winter's Den.

This bear will be dispatched within 3 days. Please note that if you are located outside the UK, your country may charge an import tax so please be prepared to pay should this happen (note below r.e. USA). I am sorry that I can no longer sell to the EU due to the difficulty for small businesses to comply with the GSPR regulations. Shipping to the USA now includes duties paid.
