Elvis: a handmade mohair teddy bear

Elvis is traditionally filled with wood-wool to his head and limbs, but his tummy is very soft and cuddly, filled with polyfibre. He is lightly weighted with the addition of recycled steel pellets to the feet and tummy. He has traditional woolfelt paws, and some light shading.

His eyes are english glass and his claws are stitched with waxed perle cotton. This lovely vintage style bear is made from 'sparse' german mohair, and is five-way jointed with traditional cotter pins. 

Elvis weighs 330g and is 33cms tall.

Please note that my bears are collectible items, and a such not intended for children under the age of 14.

Woody will arrive with a provenance tag to identify him as made by Jenny Gale of Winter's Den.
