Figg: a handmade mohair teddy bear

Figg, is the softest and most tactile little bear! He's just begging to be handled and admired.

I sewed this little fellow from the last of the hand-dyed mohair I used for the lovely Woody. I'm calling this shade 'almond blush' - nutty and warm with the most subtle hint of pink or apricot. Hard to pin down but beautiful to behold!

Figg has the same firmly stuffed head as all of my bears - filled with traditional German wood-wool and wood shavings. But his body and limbs are filled with wool and generously weighted with fine glass beads. You can feel them in his paws, and there is a pouch in his tummy. The weight makes this bear very pleasant to hold and he is surprisingly heavy for his small stature.

Figg has english glass eyes in dark topaz, and his muzzle and claws are stitched with black perle cotton.

This little bear weight 290g and is 23cms in height.

Please note that my bears are collectible items, and a such not intended for children under the age of 14.

Figg will arrive with a provenance tag to identify him as made by Jenny Gale of Winter's Den.
