Galen: a handmade mohair teddy bear

Galen is a large, heavy bear, sewn from a beautiful German mohair in a rather lovely warm pink on cocoa.

As with all my bears, he is five-way jointed to the limbs and head with traditional cotter pin joints. His head is firmly stuffed with woodwool and wood shavings; his limbs are predominantly filled with recycled poly-beads and topped with heavy fibre-fill. His tummy is weighted with poly-beads and polyfibre. Galen offers a reassuringly heavy cuddle-factor!

This bear's paws are made from cocoa linen, and he has english glass eyes and perle cotton embroidery to the muzzle and claws, waxed for sheen and durability. Galen has some gentle shading to bring out his eyes, and a little to the ears and paws.

This bear weighs a hefty 855g and is just shy of 40cms in height.

Please note that my bears are collectible items, and a such not intended for children under the age of 14.

Galen will arrive with a provenance tag to identify him as made by Jenny Gale of Winter's Den.
