Perrin: a handmade mohair panda bear

Perrin is my first panda bear. He is based on the same pattern as Fettle, Galen and Joplin. His eye patches are fur, rather than just shading, inspired by vintage panda bear toys.

I have used Steiff-Schulte German mohair and ultrasuede for the black paws. Perrin has dark topaz english glass eyes and perle cotton stitched muzzle. 

This characterful panda bear is traditionally made with cotter pin joints, and is filled predominantly with wood-wool, giving a tactile vintage crunch. However, his tummy is filled with wool fibre so is nice and soft. Perrin is weighted with recycled steel granules to the legs and tummy.

This bear weighs 435g and is 30cms tall.

Please note that my bears are collectible items, and a such not intended for children under the age of 14.

Perrin will arrive with a provenance tag to identify him as made by Jenny Gale of Winter's Den.

USA). I am sorry that I can no longer sell to the EU due to the difficulty for small businesses to comply with the GSPR regulations. Shipping to the USA now includes duties paid.
