Teddy Bear Workshop October 2026

From 9am-4.30 each day in Lindfield, West Sussex

This workshop comes with two size options! Originally this was planned as a 'small' bear workshop, but I'm aware that some people prefer to make my standard 25-30cm sized bear. With only four students at each workshop it's no problem to have people working on different sizes as all techniques are the same. The cost remains the same for each size as the difference in material costs is negligible.

The small bear uses my 'Figg' pattern. The bear will be 23cms tall whereas most of my other workshop bears are nearer to 30cms. The mohair used in the original 'Figg' bear (pictured) was hand dyed. I will aim to source (or dye) something very similar. 

Because this bear is smaller, please be prepared to tackle some more fiddly details such as small ears and foot-pads. I am always on hand to help if anyone is struggling, but ideally you will be quite dexterous and comfortable working on small details.
