Woody is a very special bear! He has been made from a newly designed, larger pattern, using a stunning hand-dyed german mohair. The shade is almond-like with a very subtle hint of warm pink.
Woody is traditionally filled with wood-wool to his head and limbs, but his tummy is very soft and cuddly, filled with pure wool fibre. He has a good reassuring weight to him, achieved with the addition of recycled steel pellets to the feet and tummy.
His rich amber eyes are english glass and his claws are stitched with waxed perle cotton. Woody's hand-stitched nose is varnished for durability with a flexible, uv-resistant lacquer.
This lovely bear is five-way jointed with traditional cotter pins.
Woody weighs 685g and is 40cms tall.
Please note that my bears are collectible items, and a such not intended for children under the age of 14.
Woody will arrive with a provenance tag to identify him as made by Jenny Gale of Winter's Den.
